The Leader In Me

This Fall Westview School is continuing our journey to become a Leader In Me "Light House School". Our staff and students are using the  common language of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,and the proven principle-based leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s work.

We are excited to teach all children leadership skills to be proactive, innovative, and engaging members of 21st century society.

• Create and display class mission statements
• Teaching goal setting and tracking process (leadership notebooks)
• Incorporating into all curricular instruction
• Student led monthly leadership assemblies
